I have included a list of tools and resources that have worked for me. These are what I have used to get my online business up and running. To help me work smarter and get the jobs done that need to be done by saving me time and money.
Some of these links are affiliate links, that means I might get a commission if you purchase the product. That being said, the price of the tool does not increase to compensate me for that.
SiteGrounds customer service is amazing, and who I have been with for many years. Their speed, uptime and security is top notch too. While their are cheaper hosting plans out there, I even started with a few, I just found that I was always fixing or updating something. SiteGround automatically keeps your WordPress Installation up to date, and is known for their quick response times to answer any problems you might be troubleshooting.
I found that using my hosting provider for my domain names was expensive. I could get the exact same domain name at Namecheap for a whole lot less and in most cases included a free WhoisGaurd. Plus they have amazing customer service. Once you have your domain name purchased you just go into Namecheap’s dashboard and manage your domain names by pointing your nameserver to your hosting provider. The first time I asked Namecheap for help, but it really was easy.
I love the Divi Theme from Elegant Themes. The drag and drop building, the pre-made layouts, and the ease of use, makes building any website easy for first timers, and fun for people that want to create stunning websites with little coding knowledge. I have built blogs, e-commerce stores, and general websites with this theme. Most of the websites I have created and built, including this one, has been made with Divi.
Extra is another Theme by Elegant Themes. It has an amazing drag and drop builder like Divi, but has some extra cool features that are perfect for a blog. I have used this theme on some of my straight blogging sites and am really impressed with the way it turns out.
